 WiFi Internet access

Wireless internet access is available in all premises of the Conference venue, provided that you have a wireless network enabled laptop.

 Talks and Posters Presentations

Please take a look at the Talks and Posters tab and verify that your presentation’s abstract is included and it is correct.

The accepted talks and posters are listed at: http://www.communicatingastronomy.org/cap2007/talks_posters.html

We have assumed that the submitted oral talks that we have not been able to accommodate will be given as posters. Please contact the CAP2007 Conference LOC at cap2007@academyofathens.gr if this is not the case.

Internet access will be available for the presenters.

Presenters in Session 1.4 who wants to present fulldome material should contact Glenn Smith smith@skyskan.com

Presentations Web cast: We will not have a live web cast, but we will try to put a video of each presentation online, linked from the programme, as quickly as possible after the talk. In the best case, this will be near-live. In the worst case, the videos will come online the week after the conference.

Proceedings:

The conference proceedings will be available as an online version and in print.

The proceedings will be published by either Eugenides Publishing or Springer.

The contributions for the proceedings should be submitted within two weeks from the end of the conference, by October 28. In order to get the material out when it is still fresh, we will have to keep you firmly to this deadline.

The submitted manuscripts should be in Microsoft Word format. A Microsoft Word template file will be available shortly on the Proceedings tab on the website.

Pictures should be submitted as separate files in high resolution TIFF, JPG, PDF or EPS format.

Article length:

8 pages for oral presentations longer than 15 minutes

4 pages for oral presentations 15 minutes or shorter

2 pages for the posters

Social events

Tuesday’s night dinner will take place at a roof garden overlooking Acropolis, at the Divani Palace Acropolis Hotel. In case of bad weather (rain – not likely but…) indoor dining has been arranged as alternative.
