Social events

• 15 March: On Monday evening, the South African Astronomical Observatory will host a Welcome Function for all the delegates on its historical grounds.
  Programme:
  19:00 Coaches arrive from hotel - drinks/snacks served at SAAO
  19:30 Welcome and introduction: Kevin Govender (LOC chair for CAP2010)
  19:35 Main Speech by Dr Molapo Qhobela (DST)
  19:50 Prize Presentation for IYA2009
  20:00 Dinner (braai, self service)
  
  
• 17 March: The conference dinner will take place on Wednesday, 17th March 2010 at the Africa Café.
  
  
• 18 March: It is planned that the Thursday afternoon will be free for a social event.
