Abstracts
Over the past weeks we have received a number of very interesting abstracts. We however believe that we may have had a glitch with the abstract submission procedure, so if you have submitted an abstract please double-check if your title appears in the list below (unless it was submitted during the last hours). If your abstract is missing please mail it to the CAP2007 Conference LOC <cap2007@academyofathens.gr>.
We will post the programme online over the next weeks.
*** Please note that the list of abstracts below only represents what we have received, and is not the final selection for the programme ***

Accommodation
The accommodation deadline is 15. July, but we encourage you to send the form as early as possible. The hotels are filling rapidly.

Social events
There is now a bit more information about the social events online at http://www.communicatingastronomy.org/cap2007/social.html
It looks like we will have some both productive and nice days in Greece!...

Payment of registrations
If you have not yet paid, please pay with credit card via the three buttons at bottom of:
http://www.communicatingastronomy.org/cap2007/registration.html
If you have no way to pay via credit card in advance, you may pay in cash on site in Athens directly to the LOC.

List of participants
If you have registered, please double-check if you are on the list of participants:
http://www.communicatingastronomy.org/cap2007/participants.html

If not, please send the registration form soon (we will have to cap the number of registering participants at 180):
http://www.communicatingastronomy.org/cap2007/registration.html

Image exhibition
We are hoping to be able to show 100 or more large stunning images of astronomical objects in one, or hopefully more, public spaces in Athens. We are open to more participants in this initiative. Read more at:
http://www.communicatingastronomy.org/cap2007/image_exh.html
Please mail lars@eso.org if you have images to provide and have not yet "signed up" for this exhibition initiative.

Developing nations grants
We have received several grant applications from developing nations and are happy to announce that we will be able to award free transportation, accommodation and registration to roughly seven participants.

July 4th 2007
