1. Lars + the FITS Liberator Task Force + local beer expert Jonas Haase will conduct a free "Beergarten Expedition" Thursday 16.06 to the Augustinerkeller: http://www.augustinerkeller.de/ Transport with the U-bahn. Meeting point: Garching Maibaum at 18:15. Bring your tickets for the public transportation system. Home transport will be either:
   • In a group leaving 22:30, arr. at Hockbrueck 23:30 where the conference bus will pick us up and take us to the Maibaum.
   • Or individually with U-bahn to station Garching Hochbrueck where:
     • the normal Bus can take you to the Maibaum, or
     • take a fresh 10 min walk to the hotel,
   • Or take a taxi from Munich ~30 Euro.

   NOTE: Excessive beer drinking can cause the occurrence of inexplicable phenomena as well as strange behaviour among the participants. The organisers are not responsible for any side effects or damages. The following topics will be covered on the tour:

   • History of the Biergarten
   • Biergarten symbols and rituals
   • The Biergarten food
2. Conference dinner will be Wednesday 15.06 19:00. Place: Restaurant Pegasus in Deutsche Museum's Flugwerft Schleißheim. A guided tour of the airplanes will take place before the dinner. Busses leave Maibaum in Garching at 18:30.
